The Bernoulli force is incredible! Two tiny (40 cm x 10 cm) hydrofoils are enough to lift myself and an F101 dinghy over 1m above the sea surface. Once the hull is out the water, the drag force is tiny, so the boat goes super fast (it sure hurts when you crash!) @NeilsonMarMenor
