๐จ PUBLIC NOTICE TO ALL NIGERIAN STUDENTS ๐จ
There have been several false reports and misleading posts claiming that NELFUND upkeep payments have been suspended.
This information is completely FALSE and should be ignored.
The official NELFUND Daily Status Report generated on 28th May, 2026 clearly shows that:
โ โฆ98,291,592,000.00 has already been paid as Upkeep Allowances to students across Nigeria.
โ Over 1.5 million students have benefited from the loan scheme.
โ Applications are still increasing daily, proving that the scheme is still active and operational.
This is not the behavior of a suspended program.
The Federal Government and NELFUND remain committed to supporting Nigerian students through:
Tuition fee disbursement
Monthly upkeep support
Access to higher education regardless of financial background
Some individuals are spreading panic and misinformation simply to discourage students from applying or benefiting from the scheme. Do not fall for it.
๐ Upkeep has NOT been cancelled.
๐ Upkeep has NOT been suspended.
๐ Payments are still ongoing.
If your upkeep has delayed, it does NOT mean the program has ended. Processing timelines may differ depending on institution verification, bank details, and application batches.
Students are advised to:
Ignore fake screenshots and unverified bloggers
Follow only official NELFUND updates
Ensure their bank and application details are correct
Remain patient during processing periods
NELFUND was created to reduce the financial burden on students, and that mission continues.
๐ Upkeep stays forever.
๐ Education support continues.
๐ NELFUND is still working for Nigerian students.

It's a good thing to note that the females are no longer trying to compete with anyone, but trying to be successful, now.
