🇺🇦 Stepan Chubenko. A pro-Ukraine Donbas native. 16-year-old. A goalie & poet. Fearless. Son to a Ukrainian dad & Russian mom.
On this day 12 years ago, he took a train in the occupied Donbas. They arrested him. Tortured for days. Executed him mafia-style.
Months later, his body was found. All the teeth were missing. Hands bound behind his back.
Never forget. Never forgive.
My hands are still shaking…
This was the most horrifying night of the entire full-scale war. Russia has completely lost it.
People were sheltering at Lukianivska metro station, 69 meters underground, yet everyone was covered in dust, as if the ceiling was about to collapse.
Soon, there won’t be anywhere left to hide from the missiles. Only reinforced bunkers will be safe.
Some of my friends had their windows blown out.
I still have chills running down my spine, and tears in my eyes.
The world cannot afford to look away.
Russia is a terrorist state!!!

Ukraine's gymnast Oleksandra Paskal performed the "Dance of Freedom" in Paris.
The 10-year-old lost her leg in a russian missile strike in 2022.
Oleksandra has begun a world tour to show the strength and resilience of Ukraine.
russia destroys childhoods.
Ukrainian children shouldn't have to remind the world about this war. They should simply be allowed to grow up in peace.
💔💔Barefoot. Terrified. Running for their lives.
A 12-year-old girl filmed herself fleeing explosions in Vyshneve.
She was running in her socks.
Her 8-year-old sister was barefoot.
Behind them, their mother was carrying their 3-year-old brother as the blasts grew closer.
This is what childhood looks like in Ukraine when russia attacks. Just survival. 💔
Jeden Tag. 💔
russia murdered her today.
Ulyana was only 13 years old.
She was killed near a bus stop.
She wasn't a soldier.
She wasn't a threat.
She was a child.
Remember her name.
The world owes her justice.

A four-day-old baby girl experienced her first night at home to the sound of explosions during Russia's attack on Kyiv.
"You're four days old. This is your first night at home. It should have been a joyful one for you - and for us, your parents. But the neighboring state is nothing but the scum of society," the baby's mother, Arina, wrote.

Russia's Tsirkon hypersonic missile found an "important military target" in Kyiv two days ago—a residential apartment building where 90-year-old Borys Zabarko, head of the All-Ukrainian Association of Former Child Prisoners of Ghettos and Concentration Camps, lives.
As a child, he survived the Sharhorod Ghetto, where he was saved by a Ukrainian family. He survived the Nazis—only to come under attack from the Russian invaders' missile.
Borys was wounded, and his home was heavily damaged.
Such is the fate of an intellectual, a historian, and the editor of a two-volume collection of testimonies by Holocaust survivors in Ukraine.
Who among them could have imagined that, 80 years later, Hitler's legacy would be continued by Putin?

Grigor Dimitrov gave a beautiful on-court interview after beating Matteo Berrettini at Wimbledon
“We all remember what happened 12 months ago here. Everyone feels for you. Because of that, how much does that make you appreciate a moment like this?”
Grigor: “You know, me and that roof have a history all of a sudden. 😂 The past three matches it’s been the same thing. Listen guys, thank you. After last year and the way I exited, I would never know what would’ve happened. But guess what, this year I’m back here. And I’m able to re-write everything again. I’m just trying to be completely honest and vulnerable in front of you guys. It’s not about the win or the loss, but for me to overcome every obstacle I have in front of me, stay more in the present moment, enjoy moments like that. I repeated that more than 1000 times throughout the match today. Just enjoy this moment. It’s not very often you come out here and play out here. I really don’t know how many more times I’ll be able to come back here. So might as well make the most out of it.” 🥹

GRIGOR REACHES THE WIMBLEDON ROUND OF 16 BACK TO BACK YEARS.
Last year, he was playing the match of his life against the world No. 1 & eventual champion… but he left with an injury & a broken heart.
Today, he’s into the 2nd week of a Slam for the first time since Wimbledon last year.
✅19th Slam R16
That injury has healed… and so has his heart.
Cathartic.

Ukrainian scientist and physics professor Mykhailo Vysotskyi posted this heartbreaking video of his home destroyed by russia.
"My home. My apartment. My bedroom. Library. Cabinet. The life of a couple of generations. The archive we had been collecting since late XIX. Thousands of books, many thousands of photos. Unique manuscripts. Several paintings by prominent Ukrainian painters. Video, audio library. Up to the latest scripts of the psychics lectures for YouTube."
Two weeks ago, Mykhailo's apartment was already damaged by the previous attack — to be fully destroyed a day before yesterday 💔 This hurts so much. Thank God he and his parents, also prominent professors, are alive, but they lost everything they've built for generations.
russia aims to destroy our science, knowledge, culture, and identity. In the background, russians are whitewashing in the West by buying out prestigious literature prizes and making loud comebacks in the sports. This should be physically disgusting to any sane person.
I hope the time will judge everyone by their deeds.
INCREDIBLE!
One year after the toughest moment of his career, Grigor Dimitrov is back into the 3rd round at #Wimbledon with a FANTASTIC win over Jakub Mensik 7-6(5), 4-6, 7-5, 6-3.
The level that he played from 1-3 down in the 4th was INSANE!
