Seven years on, the journey continues for these four!
From our last Serie B campaign in 2019 to our return to the National Volleyball League this Sunday, we are proud to have you still representing JVC. We can't wait to see you out there with the rest of the team soon.
ICYMI: As we look forward to the next Jinja Social Ride, we take a moment to reflect on highlights from our previous outing.
Beyond cycling, the Social Ride continues to create opportunities for fitness, connection, and community engagement while showcasing the experience of exploring Jinja on two wheels.
Join us this Sunday, 1st November 2026 at Space Cafe (Jinja Main Street) as we return to the road for another memorable ride. The cycling will kickoff at 9am.

Throwing back to the last time we made our appearance in Serie B of the National volleyball league way back in 2019.
It’s been a journey of patience, hard work, and determination, and now, here comes Sunday.
How many of our players can you recognize in these photos? 😀
Look who celebrated their first harvest!
Our young gardeners were thrilled to see their hard work, dedication, and patience pay off as they harvested their first eggplants yesterday!
Beyond planting and nurturing their crops, they gained valuable hands-on experience while learning about responsibility, sustainability and the journey from garden to table. Join us in celebrating their milestone. 👏

QUOTE: "Our experience from Denmark shows us that awareness and knowledge is really the key to fight cancer. You really need the cancer prevention, very early detection, and early treatment. That is how we can beat cancer. This is how we can overcome the challenges.
So just you walking out there, besides only having fun, you are also really raising awareness of such an important disease, such an important way of thinking about cancer, that it's something that can be prevented, it's something that can be detected, and it's something that can be treated." - H.E @DKAmbUganda, Danish ambassador to Uganda at the Nile Cancer Run 2026.

On the rainy morning of the Nile Cancer Run 2026, H.E. the Danish Ambassador to Uganda, @DKAmbUganda, shared a heartwarming message, embracing the rain as a sign of blessings and reflecting on the memorable morning.
“We are proud to be with you, and I think, yes, I’m very okay with the rain because I know that rain means blessings. I really think this has been a blessed morning, and thank you so much. I think we’ve never had rain before. Well, I’m a daughter of a farmer. Somehow, I always bring the rain.” 😊

Following the successful conclusion of the Park Volleyball League, our focus now shifts to the National Volleyball League (Serie B), which gets underway this weekend.
A new challenge awaits as we prepare to compete and make our mark on the national stage. The journey continues.
Last Saturday, we joined the Jinja Tour Guides Association (@Jitoga_UG ) as they celebrated their 2nd anniversary at the Hotel and Tourism Training College in Jinja, marking an important milestone in their journey of promoting tourism and strengthening the tour-guiding profession in Jinja City and the greater Busoga sub-region.
Held under the theme “Celebrating Sustainable Tourism Progress, Professionalism and the Future of Tour Guiding,” the celebration provided an opportunity to reflect on the progress made in the tourism sector, recognise the vital role of professional tour guides, and look ahead to a more sustainable and vibrant tourism industry.
