Shinji growing, taking responsibility, deciding for himself, accepting consequences and finally being happy through rebuilds is what should we look at, not at the ships. Same goes for other characters.
The why, I find, Shinji ending up with Mari acceptable and good ending is because, in my life had something very similar.
I was contemplating for a time about one of two girls in my teens, but ended up with someone crashing into my life out if no-one would expect.
Evangelion Rebuild complete.
I've mostly finished the franchise for now, so I want to give overall thoughts on the series as a whole.
Movie 1-2 was fantastic, I love what was being setup, Shikinami was becoming a bit more forward with her feelings than Soryu, Rei was getting more agency earlier, same with Shinji.
Buuuuut, the 3rd/4th film kinda does away with all of that. Rei is replaced by a copy of herself that's more doll-like than ever and Asuka has regressed and never really gets any further development. It really felt like missed potential.
It was cool seeing Rei in the 3rd film grow/learn, but we wouldn't have really needed that if we kept original Rei around anyway. I also felt the ending was very jarring, because it seemed a romance was building for Rei and Shinji, or even a little with Asuka/Shinji in the 2nd film, just for it to end with Mari, a girl it felt Shinji barely even knew.
Movies 3/4 still had some great scenes and sequences, but overall I felt like the ball was dropped heavily there. It did some things better than the original series, but did some things worse too.
I'm excited for Yoko Taro's series, because I genuinely don't think this series has met it's full potential yet, both in writing or fights. The original was solid but I feel the last few eps and EOE kinda carry it, because generally the fights in the series were admittedly a bit meh and I felt it seriously lacked a character focus at times. To the point it felt like I barely knew anyone until around episode 20.
There were tons of times characters would have a bonding moment and it would be cut before it could start, like the end of one episode where the 3 are laying in the grass under the stars and you think it'll be a wholesome bonding moment for the 3 but it hard cuts to credits, many examples like that.
However despite any flaws the series may have, I see why it's so inspirational and beloved, I still love the characters and concepts and think the themes/art/music and ending was great.
Overall after everything I'd give Eva an 8/10. With easy 10/10 potential.
Also, Evangelion being somewhat of Anno's 'autobiography', it kinda makes sense too.
Guy was struggling with depression in original series, and with rebuilds he (IMO) felt like sharing his experience of getting out of it with viewers.
3d riggers and mecha modelers are officially COOKED.
seedance 2.0 just generated complex metallic joints and dynamic lighting flawlessly.
hollywood vfx houses cannot justify their budgets when indie creators do this for FREE.
This won't work either. Most parents don't want to take responsibility and extra step to do so. We already have device level parental controls, % of parents using them is low.
I agree that it should be parent responsibility, but we are where we are
Apple is the only company with a great proposal here: let parents, who buy the devices used by kids, set up kids accounts and decide what they're allowed to do, then pass those decisions to apps through parental controls -- without demanding anyone's identity papers.
As an electrical engineer, you lack basic knowledge on how deep siemens energy is embedded in electrical industry.
Afaik siemens energy transformers are in >50% of railways and renewables in EU.
Когда я ввожу из дома после 5-6 вечера, в ближайшем километре-двух таких долбаебов как я, которые вместо сиденья дома куда-то идут, на пальцах руки можно пересчитать.
Конечно тут безопасно.
I don't need average result appeasing everyone. When I draw I chase distinctive style, look, emotion. Details that AI fucks up.
That's why it's slop and isn't creative in any way.
Most stupid take.
When I draw something using references I use my brain on what goes where, what style should I use and everything else, not the reference material.
When AI generates something, it just averages out everything you've told him to do, to appease. It isn't creative
"AI can only copy, it doesn't create anything new"
cool, now explain to me how your favorite artist works
> they consume thousands of references
> they internalize patterns
> they blend everything into something that feels new
that's creation
go watch any behind-the-scenes breakdown of a Tarantino movie, every single shot is borrowed from something else
go listen to any Dua Lipa song, it's samples layered on samples
our brains work the same way... we don't invent from zero, we recombine at speed
AI just does this faster and at a scale we physically can't match
there's nothing AI does that a human can't do manually, and the opposite will be true very soon
@red_raksha Второй будет чуть получше потому что немного больше идёт в креативный процесс и подробнее рассказывает о техниках, цветовой теории и вдохновении.
