You have no idea how important the Russian piece of military hardware burning there actually is.

Today, the air defenses of “great Russia” demonstrated astonishing accuracy and shot down their own brand-new Su-57 with a single missile. It is a fifth-generation multirole fighter, although, of course, Russia’s idea of “fifth generation” differs greatly from the American one — mainly by being weaker and unfinished. :)

The destroyed aircraft was worth up to $50 million.

Well done, Russian gunners! A medal for each of you!

But it is not even about the money. The real point is that a combat aircraft was shot down deep behind the front lines, near Moscow. Apparently, Russian air-defense crews are now so terrified that they are ready to fire even at a crow, as long as the poor bird is flying toward the Kremlin.

Russia has no shortage of crows. The same cannot be said about Su-57s: only four or five are produced each year, and every single aircraft is treated as something extremely precious.

And now some additional information has emerged.

It was not just a lone Russian crow flying toward Moscow.

A swarm of Ukrainian drones was also on its way.

The crow was flying. The drones were flying. And the Russians shot down their own aircraft.

Russian logic at its finest.
