THEN I played Tenacity to grab Surfer + energy to retreat Starmie for free and promote Greninja to attack new Beedrill for 170 & grab Boss to Boss up Fez for game.

They retreated Beedrill & attacked with another for 220. I Boss FTW.

I love all the options this deck provides. It leads to different outcomes every game. I could’ve turn 2 Tree for Greninja, but that would also benefit my opponent, so I played through Starmie & evolved into Greninja naturally. To OHKO Beedrill, I Ultra’d for Dusknoir + Candy…1/2

Another 5-2 run for a 12th place finish in tonight’s Limitless tournament!

That’s 4 5-2’s in a row.

I took out 3 different Pult decks on the back of 1 Starmie, & I beat the Zam deck that won regionals through Greninja + Red Card/Froslass.

I had 1 Prize left vs Zam I lost to.🤬

Not 1, not 2, but 3 different Pult decks.

Each won on the back of 1 Starmie + assistance from Dusclops in 1 this match to place 50 on benched Drakloak.

Why? Because it applies early pressure that forces Pult to respond while you’re establishing multiple angles to attack from.

Greninja OHKO’d Kangaskhan, Starmie took out Munkidori, but I couldn’t find Meowth or Boss for game, so Froslass put Kangaskhan to sleep with Ignition. They remained Asleep, then I OHKO’d it for game.

I finished 20th (5-2) of 170 in this online tournament with my Tera Greninja/Starmie deck!

This is 3rd time in a row that I go 5-2!

I’m the Tera Greninja final boss. If you’re not playing Starmie in this deck, you’re doing it suboptimal. It’s a mirror-breaker & more. Play it.

@AbrandNewMac It’s tough, but good to know I can take it. All game I wanted at least 1 Judge before Red Card, which I can get with Meowth. Petrel is another I’ve considered to get Red Card.
