This is SO frustrating.

Every now and then I'll get a DM from someone being super friendly, asking a bunch of questions about how long I've been VTubing, what my goals are, how content creation is going, etc.

And then, without fail, it transitions into: "I have an idea for your content..." Which somehow always turns into: "Would you like to commission me?"

Like please 😭 If your end goal is to pitch me a service, just be upfront about it. I'd rather get a direct business message than feel like I'm having a genuine conversation that was actually a sales pitch the whole time.

Really curious as to why they didn't show the UB sets. Sure this should be for the main sets to shine but you could at least tell us what the UB sets are. I mean we already know one's X-Men so you don't need to hide that one. So long as there's not 2 Marvel sets it'll be fine.

@Hollowfication5 I mean, more money to save for other things/sets if you set aside what you'd have spent on a set for the one you're interested in to get more of it.

But I get it. I really was just interested in 3 sets this year though next years so far has 2 I'm interested in. 1 especially so.

They're doing 1 stone a set and there's 6 in total. So unless they do 2 in a set or one in each of the commander decks for a set then it's 6 total

@wizards_magic Please remember there's more than just humans and goblins on kamigawa. Give some decent foxes and rats and moonwalk too.

@UsagiKaede1 Yeah I thought about it and it's not to bad. Sure we can run a 5 color commander via instant and sorcery spells but you're also limited to just basic lands and artifacts that change what color (if any) they tap for.

Otherwise it's a mono U deck or a card for otter tribals 99.

@IoukoYamato I don't hate the sets by any means. I liked the marvel set to a degree, spider man kinda fell flat for me, and I'm sure the xmen set (if large enough and decently stacked) will be just as good as marvels was.

It's just the fact they set themselves up to do 6 sets which is a lot.

I'd hope we see Power Rangers as one of them especially next year either before or after Kamigawas new set. Would keep the mechs and kaiju like theme going without being full kaiju based. Plus more "pilots" for them.

Part of me also thinks Percy Jackson's world would work too.

Thinking about how supposedly the next 6 years of UB have an IP set and assuming there's 3 a year means there's 18 total IPs that are in production atm.

Of those, 4 are guaranteed to be Marvel based and I'd hope done relatively quickly to finish it off cause it's already tiring.

That being said, it still leaves 14 other IPs in the works and we can perhaps assume Nintendo for at least 1 or 2 for that 6th year if wotc was given the heads up about the deal.

Maybe 12 sets are left to figure out. What could they possibly be? Cause tbh idk many that fit well.

@IoukoYamato Hasbro only just recently got the ability to make Nintendo IP products. I doubt we see a Zelda set anytime in the next 2 or 3 years. Might not even come out in time for the movie to have shared hype.

Also any Marvel set is gonna piss people off even though we know there's 3 more

I could see maybe the spirits getting intertwined with the kaiju but I really hope to see more than just a couple of cards featuring the other races as more "support" based cards rather than big players in the set along with the humans and monsters and probably goblins.

This set should be really cool. Glad to be going back to Kamigawa. The only issue I have is, where's the furry? No foxes shown. None of the rats are shown. Not even the moonfolk. Just the Ikoria beasts, humans, and a goblin are previewed or viewable in the concept art.

I really hope that those in charge of this mashup of planes didn't go "Oh. Let's take these two planes and make it like Pacific Rim but with our samurai humans and this random goblin cause we love our goblins" but then completely forget the rest of those on the plane.
