@DTXGreek@TheHerd@colincowherd I don’t think he’s discounting the Knicks championship. If they win, it’s there and it counts just as much. But this Knicks team isn’t better than then Durant warriors or the 96 bulls despite what the point differentials say
@jawboneofsamson So say that. It’s obvious that they hold anti Israel beliefs. Whether they’re all low IQ, I can’t say.
The way you’re speaking about undesirable intelligence being unbreakably connected to skin color is unbecoming.
@jawboneofsamson I think skin color is actually not a predictor of anti-Israel sentiment. You have a white nationalist far right contingency here. The Irish in Europe. In the pro-Israel camp you have many Indians.
@shevereshtus@elinadoff@ldkop According to whom is kiddish on wine deoraysa? There’s a difficultly worded one line in the gemara in Nazir that tosfos explains but besides that
@RaphiStein@DAVIDCSTANT0N@ShabbosK@prageru Your point is you want to litigate whether “Get refusal” is “domestic abuse”. That’s your right, but you still haven’t answered why you refused to go to the BDA and continue to refuse to give your wife a get
@AliKazmi2040@ibrahimibnyusuf The way I see it, if it was okay then, it’s okay now. If it wasn’t okay then, it’s not okay now, but not being okay doesn’t mean it gets reversed. Those countries are Arab now. Israel isn’t. You want to take arms to change that? History has proven that’s only worked against you.
@AliKazmi2040@ibrahimibnyusuf In case you didn’t catch it, I was being sarcastic. Arab conquest and the spread of Islam was anything but the foreign exchange program you described. It is a premier example of violent colonialism.
@jacobtaber@jewishstudent1 Your contention is Israel is uniquely evil and its soldiers are uniquely violent and therefore Jews should refuse to associate. I think that’s misguided or based on a double standard you hold which may be rooted in idealism, but it isn’t how the world works.
@jacobtaber@jewishstudent1 I explicitly said their attitudes don’t justify (on their own) the deaths of their children. The Israeli goal to protect its citizens through neutralizing and deturing further attacks do. Their support or apathy towards Hamas, though, allows the cycle to begin again.
@jacobtaber@jewishstudent1 I don’t think so either but that’s not Israeli army policy to commit those crimes, and your argument is not to sing hatikva because of *Israeli* action
