Why do i feel like Menzi would have started self-destructing much earlier if Freedom hadn’t been around ? Freedom was nonchalant about life in a way that sometimes helped Menzi realise that not everything happening to him was his fault.

That scene where Menzi got scolded by his dad about finding a job ? He went to Freedom to complain, and instead of feeding the negativity, Freedom simply told him that girls like independent men. Just like that, Menzi found the silver lining in the situation.

Freedom was many things, but he was also one of the few sources of positivity in Menzi’s life. #ThePolygamist
