Jan 2024: The pace speeds up!
In the New Year, we'll be putting out more of our ANCHOR viruses to answer all your questions!
Whether you're developing antivirals, physical or chemical disinfection systems, oncolytic viruses or need high-throughput imaging and analysis!
NeoVirTech’s team is growing. It is our pleasure to welcome Charlène Lopez as an engineer, in charge of the development of oncolytic viruses, from design, construct, validation to in vivo testing. Welcome Charlène !
I had the chance to visit the veterinary clinic of the @zoobeauval today. We discussed several problematic on virus outbreak management and disinfection strategies. I’m truly convinced it will be a very productive collaboration between our institutes.

African Swine Fever Virus tagged ANCHOR™ infecting Vero cells and fixed 16h post infection. This work is in collaboration with Dr Ali Alejo Herberg from the Centro de Investigacion en Sanidad Animal in Madrid, Spain.
Elegant work and nice to put numbers on the forces! RNA pol2 is not even bothered by ParB proteins at parS sites - the ANCHOR system - in eucaryotes: https://t.co/3pgJlRHATW

Reconstructed human airway epithelium infected with SARS-CoV-2 Omicron strain and stained for SARS-CoV-2 NP (red) and SARS-CoV-2 RNA (green). This work is a collaboration between @NeoVirTech, expert in virus imaging, and @Virnext, expert in viral respiratory infectious diseases.
Strategical alliance with @VirexpR, leader in airborne disinfection testing in France. Collaboration will allow NeoVirTech to use VirexpR nebulization room to measure the efficiency of air treatment devices using an imaged based readout. [email protected][email protected]
We are sponsoring the International Conference on Antiviral Research to be held in Lyon March 13-17. . We will present our last project on the development of broad spectrum antivirals and have some time to visit and discuss with our partners #ICAR

Human cells infected with VACV ANCHOR poxvirus (green: infected cells, green dots: viral DNA) and stained with WGA 555 (Magenta) and DAPI (blue) 20h post infection. We wish you a colorful year ! 😊
We had the chance to present the progress of our DENALPOVIR project during the first edition of the Defense Health Innovation Day at the Val-De-Grâce School. This event was an opportunity to discover 37 innovative projects selected by the French Army Health Service (SSA) !

SARS-CoV-2 infecting human pulmonary cells 48h post-infection, nuclei in blue, SARS-CoV-2 RNA in green, SARS-CoV-2 NP in red. Work done by Charlotte Quentin-Froignant.
Orthopox titration using high resolution imaging.
A reconstruction of 374 fields, 3 picture /field (R/G/B) and displayed in real color. It took 5 min to acquire the 1122 images and reconstruct the full well. Is it useful in routine ? Of course not. Is it cool ? Indeed :)
Fast and robust discovery of antipoxvirus inhibitors using ANCHOR tagged viruses. A 25 field reconstruction is shown for each condition (blue: nuclei, green: VACV ANCHOR), showing that compound 1 completely abolish virus replication. [email protected]
🆕🔥 La section Virologie de la SFM est heureuse de vous annoncer son prochain #webinar sur les infections par le virus #Monkeypox le lundi 4 juillet entre 12h00 et 13h30.
