Brad Ryan and his 92-year-old grandmother, Joy, are nearing the finish line on a goal they once thought was impossible: visiting all 63 U.S. national parks together. https://t.co/vIdZSsPDE9
While #LakeMead’s water levels are currently the lowest it has ever been, less than 40 years ago, the lake was overflowing into the spillways at Hoover Dam.

After a TON of contact with @Airbnb, they finally decided to pay me out the rest I was owed via a different payment method. Customers should not have to beg and make a hassle to be given their money back. Thanks for the money back, but I do not appreciate all the energy it took.
@Airbnb@AirbnbPolicy@AirbnbHelp area a guest is trying to stay is in a state of emergency and they have to cancel, that is covered under extenuating circumstances according to your policy. Why are you allowed to pick which emergencies are acceptable for each case?
The owner of this property did not care about anything but his money and would not refund me due to these issues. This falls to @Airbnb to make it right.
.@Airbnb@AirbnbHelp How is my support case closed without an attempted resolution? Also, I’m still waiting on a call back from a Support Ambassador it’s been 17 hrs. What gives?
@AirbnbHelp If you wanted to resolve this for me, it would've been done back in September when I first asked for help. Since then, I have called, messaged, tweeted, begged. it's still not resolved. So @AirbnbHelp I would say that, no, you wouldn't like to resolve this for me at all.
@jgebbia Joe, I am having difficulty with a $410 refund on a cancellation that was made last evening and cancelled within an hour, and @Airbnb flat out refuses to refund the money after speaking with 5 people. I'm only a Dad reaching out to a $100 Billion company. Please help
Hey @Airbnb attempted to be a first time customer here.
I booked a month in Miami Beach with one of your “hosts” John who rejected my acceptance of his price to instead raise his asking price 40%.
My first experience with your service has been very unpleasant at best.
We are not backing down. Where is my money?
Everyday will be a beautiful day for me to complain until I get my 580 EURO'S BACK.
We need the company to be inspected @ConsumerReports@EU_Consumer@Airbnb@AirbnbHelp@Airbnb
@Airbnb “Government declared local and national emergencies” are considered extenuating circumstances for cancellation per your stated policy, but I can’t cancel when my destination city has declared a state of emergency due to an unprecedented weather event? Please advise.
@Cestlavie87@Earl_GreyT @hiranava @OregonGovBrown@Airbnb@AirbnbHelp This is so shitty. I believe you. This is how they continue to be king though. If many hosts stopped hosting all at once they would be struggling. Unfortunately, this seems like a hard thing to convince people to do. We can only make change if we work together.
@Cestlavie87@Airbnb@AirbnbHelp I am so sorry that bad hosts and AirBnB may be impacting your business as a kind host. People who are excited to travel and experience these things may never use AirBnB ever again due to these actions. I know I won't.
@Earl_GreyT@Cestlavie87 @hiranava @OregonGovBrown@Airbnb@AirbnbHelp It seems that way.
When I was on the phone with them they tried saying that declared emergencies are only for pandemics and epidemics. But that is not at all what their policy says. They also told me I read their policy wrong but that "they aren't saying I read it wrong".
@Cestlavie87 @hiranava @OregonGovBrown@Airbnb@AirbnbHelp They claim that it is not under extenuating circumstances because their winter storm policy has a clause regarding certain states in certain months of the year. They claim you should expect poor weather during this time. Which is crap.
