Devil Card Unleashed

the Devil Card represents Man's flawed relationships with his surroundings. Most humans are tethered to the physical plane of reality, which is what keeps them trapped in bondage, because the physical, material, and spiritual realms are fueled together. these are beyond the physical perception of solid mater. the Devil or Satan represents this false conception and most people are trapped in this worldview, and this represents a retardation of the mind dictated by the leaders of this world, but the person who is able to disassociate with that physical and spiritual matter are able to break free of this allusion and illusion. this is essentially the Crux of the problem. the world of material form has enslaved the material form. the average person cares about Work more so than about other people, rather than contemplating deeper question of existence and the true nature of what we are doing on this material plane how this fits in with the physical form of this Universe. Most people would put you a Mental Asylum if you shared the secrets of the esoteric. Maya means illusion, the Devil, the Devil wants you to make you to think that the physical world is all that is is, and that's where [in my opinion, as Dark Magician, Masonry glorifies people into the physical world], and the education system. but knowing how to harness this power to manifest from a higher power that can take on a form in the physical world, they are on the right path in terms of figuring out this entire hierarchy and this entire illusory nature of reality.

Also, the Devil is necessary because it is perceived as pure evil, but in reality, the Devil, having to confront the Devil, or the Devil's manifestation, creates Temperance, sculpting your consciousness and making you become stronger. Without adversity you would be stagnant and not develop any new abilities or insight.

the Devil has a use in that it is how to improve yourself in your spiritual and physical manifestation as progress, so in that you can think of the Devil as that which causes transformation through the subconscious towards God-consciousness.

@SiriusBShaman because they are not the same. Norse mythology is considered paganism, and while there are parallels to the Kabbalah and to Christianity, the ontology (What is God? pertaining to being) and the concept of an afterlife is fundamentally different.
