@a_cosgrove_type @PDWRevival I meant the fact you could cheat in Dream World, I'd hope I knew about the Dream World already considering I finished the Medal Rally.
I just wrapped up my glitched Pokedex completion for the switch versions of FRLG. Was a good time, got to showcase a lot of different ways of getting to stuff I'm not supposed to, and experience the gen 3 dex in yet another unique way!
@jinnbapho@cilerba Make sure your codes are set for the switch version on the code generator, they're different to the retail codes for either revision.
@cilerba Oh neat, another way for people to choose to do this. Not the one I personally chose for my 386 on switch, I'm just about done my mail glitch chain method, but this is still really cool to see someone do!
@VCreateArt I race every Pokedex with a friend on release. For the first and only time, I actually dropped out of the race, because spending a fucking week looking for Rotom was just unacceptable. This DLC was a mess for many reasons, but RNG is such a heavy factor.
@garbud15@chuggaaconroy While I do agree with this, removing the option to entirely get past the luck, being buying coins, means you're effectively forced back into dealing with luck more than you were with the slots. Voltorb Flip does still truly have a luck element, even if not as much as the slots.
@DigiDriveTamerJ@timforsyth15@chuggaaconroy Not when it's randomly generated. Picross randomizers exist online, and share many of the exact same problems with Voltorb Flip, especially in regards to how luck is handled. Randomized Picross tends to share a lot of the guess work with Voltorb Flip.
@chuggaaconroy I don't think anyone should be saying that this minigame isn't luck based, because it is. That said, the clips playing as you were saying that did not prove your point. Not being able to buy coins regardless is a stupid decision, regardless of how anyone feels about the minigame.
@HydroCrypto @NianticHelp That is the one thing they WERE clear about. It was worded Pokemon who are typically found in 1-4 star Max Battles, which are not Gigantamax Pokemon.
