Would only 2 minutes been added if the goal was not scored? I think everyone who saw the game agrees that there was an — extreme — amount of delay and time wasting in the 2nd half.

I don’t think anyone even could try to argue that 2 minutes added time besides the VAR review was decided for any other reason than Oliver and the 4th ref wanting the stoppage time to be 4-5 minutes shorter than it should have been.

And why wouldn’t they want to decide the game against United? He has done it so many times before — and still gets to call all these match-ups and he gets the top games despite numerous extremely questionable calls.

But nothing will happen because everyone is fine with individual refs doing what they please on the pitch.
