A serious incident just occurred on a return flight of a Jewish summer camp group from Valencia, Spain:

The children were singing Jewish songs on the plane before takeoff.

The flight attendants and captain didn’t like it and wanted to search the children because they compared them to terrorists and wanted to remove them from the plane.

Allegedly, they implied that Israel is a murderous country, and singing Jewish songs means supporting Israel and a “murderous state”!

The camp counselor objected to the search and removal of the children, saying they had paid for their tickets. The flight crew attacked the counselor – beating her with batons!

The entire group was removed from the plane.

They took 50 children off the aircraft.

The Spanish National Police (Guardia Civil) arrived on the runway – they handcuffed the 21-year-old counselor.

They confiscated all phones and deleted the videos!

After that, they forced the counselor to sign a document committing not to publish any videos, or else she would be arrested.

The children will board another flight today at 19:50.

Disgraceful people!!!!

This is eerily reminiscent of the years leading up to World War II.

Not going to lie. My first instinct was to send a post saying:

“What did y’all think UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER meant? vibes? papers? essays? losers.”

But now’s not the time. The glibness and flippancy of that statement betray the gravity of this historical moment.

One must be wary of doing a George Bush posing in front of a “Mission Accomplished” banner on the aircraft carrier.

Iran’s ability to strike back is severely degraded and given the inner turmoil (and the realization of the depth of infiltration by Israeli intelligence), the regime has to focus on self-preservation.

Still it remains to be seen what exactly was destroyed in the strikes, and whether there will be reprisals on US targets.

As for the Iranian people, the moribund regime will slowly decay and weaken rather than collapse suddenly in a revolutionary event. Civil war is possible but unlikely.

WWIII predictions are way off-base here: Russia is held up in Ukraine and China has its own domestic problems to solve given its structural economic problems and ongoing trade war with the US. Oil prices haven’t even been affected much.

It’s crazy to think just how much of a self-defeating strategic blunder Oct 7th was on the part of Israel’s enemies. Iran tacitly and materially supported it, and did not restrain Hezbollah from joining in shortly after. That day marked the beginning of the end for the regime.

In its dying embers, it can still lash out, and there will still be suffering for the Iranian people. But the Middle East and the world are permanently changed.
