@zneshnaya honestly? I love everything about this! And I'm serious!<3
been there, done that. There are people out there who simply play the game and don't treat it like training for the next Olympics.
Also:
Layla, my beloved! <3
@SpIinterCal If I have to travel for half an hour just for a side quest... I just won't do it. I'm sorry, I simply don't have the time. Sumeru is gorgeous. So is Natlan. I could vibe to the music there for hours. And sometimes I just walk around, explore a bit and enjoy the map. But yeah, no
@SpIinterCal It's also a matter of TIME! Teyvat has become insanely huge at this point and it keeps growing. It took a guy over 1 1/2h to travel from one end of the map to the other. I love walking through Teyvat. I travel on foot often. I enjoy the scenery and the music. I also have a life
@AllenHive@MmelsAltt She suffered for 500 years on an endless road while her goal was to sacrifice herself in the end.
She did everything she could to protect Natlan and her people and actively fought against the abyss over and over again.
What I'm trying to say is: Let that woman have her damn bike
@AllenHive@MmelsAltt friendly reminder that she threw almost all of her belongings into the fire to save Kachina and the others. All of her keepsakes from her old life. A picture of her family. It was a whole chamber full of memories of the people she loved. And she gave it up without hesitation.
@noxcturnes Oh, almost forgot: Xilonen playing child psychologist again and having a sensitive but honest conversation about death, loss and grief with Sayu!
Somebody HAS to have that talk with that poor girl at SOME point and after Xilonen's quest I just know that she's the perfect fit
@noxcturnes ffs, you can look at something and think "hmm, that has Alice written all over it" only to find out that it is INDEED a good ol Alice fuckery. We have never met that women, only talked to her a bit and you can still absolutely tell whenever she had her hands in it.
@Just0neTraveler@Soul_StormOP Seriously though! XD
"hiding" lore in item descriptions? making players actively work for the lore? classic Dark Souls ^^
@PJWasHere_@mldlyc saaame! and my mom has the funniest timing because she called while I was still processing aka crying. And then I had to explain to her why her adult daughter was crying like a baby over a toy penguin and has now the intense need to hug her mommy XD
@AboutNodKrai absolutely loved it!
I have a soft spot for behind the scenes material in general and learning more about their creative process was so interestingt! and I also really enjoyed the personal touch it had.
and it showed the passion and love they put into their work
@anemoboikazuha@cursedheretoo@mldlyc yeah, I was also pretty irritated. I'm the kind of player that likes to vibe. I want to enjoy quests. I'm here for the lore, the characters and the story. and I hated that I had to rush quests only to miss most of the event anyways. good thing they changed that! ^^
@anemoboikazuha@cursedheretoo@mldlyc I am so glad that they implemented a quickstart option for timed events. I mean, I'm fully up to date with the archon and character quests now and don't need it anymore, but it was a huge help for a while. and I didn't have to rush through really cool quests anymore.
@cursedheretoo@mldlyc oh no! I'm so sorry!
but honestly? thumbs up for prioritising your exams. it sucks, but I'm proud of you that you did that. sometimes, real life stuff is more important. I hope everything went well :)
@cursedheretoo@mldlyc I feel you! it happens to the best of us. I missed most of the 2022 summer event because I struggled with meeting the requirements fast enough. I was a relatively new player at that point and lazy XD but people are still talking about how amazing it was ππ
