@Tree0fLiberty76 @nanditab1@KamalaHarris Everything a presidential candidate does is staged. You really think secret service would let them knock on a random door the day before an election?
@datepsych And that doesn't even factor in seasonal uptick in work. That summer kitchen is going all day and late into the night canning, curing meats, making bologna, etc., going into the fall with apple pressing for canned sauce, etc.
@nanytrulz@harrisonlowman I'm pretty certain since the beginning of time, journalists and politicians have been meeting in restaurants and coffee shops. Seems like the logical place to meet - out in the public and not in the shadows.
@stephenfgordon Until the Americans knock on his door and say, "Hi Pierre, if the release of any of those names leads to our sources or our techniques being revealed, then we will stop sharing intelligence with you and you know how much you rely on us for it, so I'd think carefully".
@mert@paulg She has been in the public eye since becoming DA of SF in 2004, then Attorney general of the largest state, then a senator and now VP.
You may not yet know her character but many others that have seen her in the public eye over the last 20 years do.
@markusoff It literally always takes that long to do final counts, absentee ballots, etc.
We just don't pay attention because its not usually this close and those final votes to count wouldn't potentially change the outcome.
You'd think they'd be praising them for carefully counting

JT: because the uncomfortable truth is we get a lot of our info from the US and UK and if they found out that I was sharing this to someone without a security clearance they'll stop sharing
