Accountability is very difficult for avoidants.
This is due to a core wound of shame. Taking accountability is the emotional equivalent of confirming their shame and "defectiveness". This is why they often gaslight and blame you for their behaviors. If it's your fault, they don't have to self reflect and take accountability, which means they avoid facing their own inner shame.
if you're scared to do something but think about it often, it's probably the exact thing you need to do to unlock the next chapter in your life. embrace the fear, welcome the change, and go after what you want with full force
@supacutesru so my reason for having the mumbai-delhi debate is to talk more about how mumbai as a city can be scary but it allows for growth and exposure to experiences in a way delhi cannot and i invite anyone to mumbai to come see it (i will happily show)
mumbai delhi debate is akin to messi ronaldo debate, everyone knows who is the winner, but delhi people will still argue like its them, the same as ronaldo fans
@supacutesru all of this said and done, i agree with the problems that we commuters face in the locals, overburdened, under-ventilated and tardy – the local trains are by no means perfect but they are also crippled by the govts. budgeting priorities
