It's not just cops. It's the entire medical field, it's child and family services, social work, education-- no institution is immune to institutional racism, sexism, ableism, transphobia, homophobia. Any comparison b/w institutions is ineffective. We must imagine new systems.

@HillaryMonahan Oh also my ceiling fan. It shakes and makes machine gun noises sometimes threatening to come down on me one night like a rouge bey blade. Also the washing machine is REALLY loud so I’m scared to go near while it’s running.

I think one of my favorite things about my dad is how sweet he is. The three songs that make him cry every time without fail are “you’re gonna love me” from dream girls, “let it go” from frozen and “under pressure” by queen. I just love that about him ❤️
