My friend Moses was expelled from school indefinitely the following week but Eva was spared. I always wondered what became of my friend & desk mate Moses Njoroge. I tried finding him on social media but failed. I hope his dreams came true. I hope he made a good man out of himself

Later that day rumors started circulating about what Eva had ingested. It was rumored that Moses had supplied some weed to her which relaxed her to the extreme. She got so weak & permitted her rectum to misbehave in a volcanic manner.

We were quickly evacuated. The classroom was cleaned and there where no more lessons that afternoon. We got to relax in our dorm rooms the remainder of the afternoon. I parted ways with my shoes. I placed them in a plastic bag and threw them away.

I felt like a porta potty had been emptied in the room. I must have thrown up in my mouth a few times. We were all in shock!
What I saw can only be described as a herd of buffalo and pigs taking a dump in a field together and the result was what I saw.

My spirit left my body. I felt like I was floating above the room for a second. I didn't know what to do in that moment.
My feet were stepping directly in human excrement. Eva had permitted her rectum to explode without fear or favor.

I kept praying in my head that the stickiness would turn out to be chewing gum. I finally gathered the courage to look down at my shoes moments after. what I saw was beyond description. Have you ever felt like jumping into a pool filled with disinfectant spray!

Do you remember Eva the girl Moses fancied? Well, she was the source of the vile odor. I almost passed out when I discovered she had sat right behind me. I then realized that my shoes felt sticky at the bottom all of a sudden.

You know that feeling of not knowing if you should breathe or throw up? I wanted to rip my nose off my face. The entire classroom was covered in the sickening odor. It only took us less than 10 minutes to locate the source.

The smell was like that of rotting eggs,blue cheese & beans left in an abandoned toilet filled with human excrement. It smelt like I had suddenly just walked into that abandoned toilet & submerged myself into the toilet bowl. The smell was awful!

Anyway moving on....
During the lesson, I had a whiff of a very strong stomach turning stench. I will try to describe it in words.

You know the one where he parted the Red Sea for the Israelites to escape from Egypt to the promised land? Yes, that one!
Now by no means was this man handsome but we liked his comedic humor. His lessons were usually more of entertainment than actual study work.

The bottom teeth were discolored but okay. I can remember that every time he laughed, I laughed harder. His teeth reminded me of the miracle prophet Moses in the Bible performed.

His potbelly looked more like a pregnancy. He had a wide gap that separated his front teeth into two sections. His mouth looked like it was missing a couple of teeth but this was not the case. Only the upper part of his mouth had the distinctive gap.

I remember one particular day we were attending a class in the afternoon. We had just returned from a lunch break. I don't remember the teacher's name but he was a tall dark man from Mbale. He had a distinctive body structure, was loud and obnoxious sometimes.

(Remember this girl Eva because she will be important later on in the story) She hang out with a popular clique of girls that liked the attention of the opposite sex. They liked to think they were easy on the eye and were certainly mentally more mature than some of us.

She was a quiet but very proud light skinned pretty girl. She never spoke to girls she considered less attractive or from a less privileged background.

I just remembered a time when I was in high school. The year was 2005 I was in my form 4. I had a desk mate Moses Njoroge. He was a brilliant student, very creative & had an artistic talent. He had developed a big crush on a girl. We will call her Eva.
