The 'don't eat anything bigger than your head' rule was smashed clean out the park today by this Otter and its cub eating their way through a 4 foot long Conger Eel on Barra. They gave up after an hour's constant eating, leaving a feast for the gulls gathered nearby.

We completed the Great Skua census today on #StKilda and the impact of the current #AvianInfluenza outbreak is clear: 66 territories represents a 64% decline since 2019. 106 dead so far this season, with half of them found in the last week. Worrying times ahead for our Bonxies.
