Brendan was not just a brother in law. He was a mentor, a visionary and worked in the darkest of places during the darkest of times in our history.
He was an inspiration to me and many others. His dedication to peace is indisputable, his legacy will never be fully measured.
So sad that my dear friend Brendan McAllister has died. One of the most dedicated, courageous and compassionate people I ever knew and a true peace-builder.
