@HealthWarrior7 Why the misleading information in your tweet? indexed cost can't be more than 65-66 lcs over the last 24 yrs. Sure there is more tax in this example under new method, but you are exaggerating the impact in your post. Not saying it's good or bad. But depends on case to case.

@sucker4process @shankarr108 @jaganmsna @8 If a seller is contemplating taking chq vs cash for the sale price, sure, he would be incentivized to take 200 and have more chq value after 12.5 tax. But I don't follow how it comes down to 10%.

@sucker4process @shankarr108 @jaganmsna @8 What do you mean by "reduce price from sales"? How does that bring it down to 10%? Say I buy a property for 100, and sell for 200. The tax on the 100 is 12.5. Sure, there might be a stamp duty component, but that's paid on top. So how are you bringing it down to 10 effectively?

When looking at condos that have aged many yrs, aren't you also looking at a higher mthly maint. cost? Also, How do you compare diff. bldngs that are 20-30 yr old? And do you have any favorite condo buildings in Toronto that you have looked into and find promising?

@xelan_gta Was speaking with a GTA realtor and their response to increased rental inventory rn was due to more completions this yr, and it being offseason for rentals. They expect rents to shoot up later this yr. Do u think we could see a sharp reversal in rents later in the yr? @xelan_gta

@VishalBhargava5 @Vishal_VS4 I don't think you are understanding the legal outcomes of posting on social media. Nobody is asking you to outright name the developer, but mentioning the city or area or the kind of developer involved. No legal liability from that.
