@JimmuDean @wonabear Blending in helps hide the existence of the gameoverse, and if they look out of place they'll be questioned and less likely to be trusted. Also the water logic isn't followed at all, there's literally things on fire.

@egoraptor @BrandyBuizel It's also kind of a new thing showing pilots to the public. Most of the time and for a long time it was proof of concept only for the people I'm a company who decide what gets funded. Those people being the fans is new (and exciting)

@Cheesymanfredo First episodes do have to convince an audience to keep watching. It's a lower ask than asking to be funded and people are more forgiving (some even follow the 4 episode rule) but there's definitely some overlap

@MeowMeowNiko1 My asexual artist gaze says this character design and costume designs are really appealing. The outfits are also all practical enough to be believable. They also don't seem like something the character wouldn't choose to wear.

@NegativeSymptom I'm not sure I've seen a show put so much into character acting and love it SO MUCH! I get saving your animation budget for super meaningful moments or 'epic fight' but god this really made an impact. I hope they let them keep this up.

@wonabear People keep treating this shot like it's just here for 'fanservice'. It's a really cool piece of showing us how the world works. She has to blend in to this world, and this is the tech she's using and has experience using.
