SOURCE: The Brooklyn #Nets’ interest in Nate Ament at No. 6 appears to be gaining legitimate traction.
One league source described Ament as a “polarizing player,” though also someone who could be an ideal fit alongside Egor Demin due to the duo’s combination of size and shooting ability.
A few weeks ago, a source described Ament as a “dark horse” option for Brooklyn at No. 6.
Since then, league buzz surrounding the possibility has only continued to grow, making him a name worth monitoring as the draft approaches.
The #Nets are working out Louisville guard Isaac McKneely tomorrow.
Standing at 6-foot-4 and 195 pounds, the 22-year-old averaged 10.9 PTS, 3.0 REB, and 1.4 AST while shooting 39.5% from three in 2025 after transferring from Virginia.
He is a projected late second-round pick/priority UDFA.

From listening to him on WFAN growing up to now talking Knicks basketball & the NBA Finals with him on NY Got Game. A surreal moment interviewing the legendary Mike Breen! 🏀🎙️
“BANG!”
Interview dropping soon!!
I'd make the argument that the Knicks have pretty much "won" the Bridges' trade.
Of course if both teams wind up winning a chip it's a win-win, but making these finals is well worth making the trade if I'm the Knicks.
Two scenarios. Pick your preference.
In a 10 year window, the NBA team you're a fan of can either:
A. be in the Playoffs eight out of the 10 years, be in legit contention in six, and be in the Finals twice and lose both;
or
B. be in the playoffs two of the 10 years, be in legit contention in two, and be in the Finals once and win.
Which would you choose for your team?
It should also be noted that Sean Marks like most GMs is very proud of his ability to use disinformation and misinformation to divert attention from real plan. AND IT’S MAY 19!
I think it was @SAINTNET1 who said it, most of us will still watch the nets. I get being angry and disappointed and frustrated. But imo this fire Sean masks campaign isn’t gonna work.
If your gonna not support fine, if you need to take a break on.
