@erikslater_ thoughts on the likelihood nets including their SRPs in a MPJ/clax/CT trade to entice extra future FRPs? I.e. if they can only get 1 frp and a young player for MPJ if they add their seconds can they turn that to two FRPs? The Nets do not need 3 rookies in 26-27
@simondmccormack@erikslater_@LockedOnNets Wouldn’t they just waive him or tell him to stay at home if he is really that bad of a cancer? why give up picks when we really don’t need anything in return.
@erikslater_@LockedOnNets If the Nets don’t trade MPJ at the deadline and get an 8-10 pick in the draft do you think they would/could package MPJ with their pick to move up into a top 4 spot?
@erikslater_@LockedOnNets Given Egors size, shooting, lack of lateral quickness, and handles deficiencies: what do you think of moving him over to the SG position? Especially if the best player available in the draft next year is a PG (Flemmings or Brown Jr)
A few weeks ago, @NYDailyNews asked Nets fans on X to share their thoughts heading into the 2025-26 season. More than 80 responded — 65 made the cut.
Hope, frustration and patience define the fanbase. These results aren’t scientific polling, but a snapshot of Nets World today, straight from the fans who spoke up.

“He’s like my laptop.”
Danny Wolf’s mind works like a search engine with no limits. Every possession opens a new window for the Nets rookie: a missed rotation here, a better pass there, until the tabs start stacking faster than he can close them.
Knowing when to silence his thoughts and lean on instinct remains an ongoing lesson.

Wild stat: no Nets draft pick has made an all star game as a net since Brook Lopez in 2013 (13 seasons). That is the longest drought without a home grown all star by far.
@JarrettAlien The pick gets frozen and Not tradeable before it gets pushed to the end of the last round. There’s no chance that this pic now in the Nets possession would be forced to move to the end of the round.

If they don’t find the perfect trade offer for Cam Johnson this offseason wouldn’t it make sense to renegotiate and extend him similar to what Indy did with Myles turner. It would make it easier for a larger salary dump at the deadline too.
@DougNorrie random Nets fun fact. The longest gap between trades for the nets is 18 years. The last time the nets made a trade with the thunder was in 2006 when they traded a second round pick to the sonics for Mikki Moore. Will Cam Johnson be next?
