@ktibus @UKVIgovuk I called UKVI on 8th Jan and was told that if born in Aus to Brit mother but never registered for UK birth or passport then could use Aus passport & ETA, which is clearly wrong from all other info available.

@FCDOtravelGovUK @ukinaustralia What about people who have never had a British passport but because they’re entitled to one by descent they’re now being told they can no longer enter the UK on their original passport plus ETA but have to apply for a UK passport? Is this correct?

@Harryslaststand I live in Spain, I don’t have to drive very far to places full of Brits who’ve lived here for 10+ years and still don’t speak Spanish and complain all the time about all things Spanish. I’ve found it ironic that those are the types on Facebook posting “we want our country back”.
