Price holding up is useful data, but "looks strong" still needs a timeframe. If the catalyst is regulatory while rates are tightening, the market can be resilient and still be one headline away from giving back the move.
A tax framework that treats small transactions sanely would do more for day-to-day adoption than another mass-adoption slogan. The details around cost basis, staking, and DeFi are where this either becomes usable or turns into compliance theater.
