[Network Cork @NetworkCork]

Ahead of our AGM tomorrow, all of us in Network Cork would like to take a moment to thank our outgoing president, Cathy Fitzgibbon for her amazing year as Network Cork President.

Cathy has embedded her core value of Sustainable Success throughout the year, as reflected in her events which focused on environmental sustainability, personal sustainability and business sustainability.
Her leadership has been a guiding light for our branch. We are glad she isn't going too far and will be taking up the position of Ex-Officio in 2025-2026.

We would also like to thank Susana Marambio, who finishes up as Ex-Officio, for all she has done for the branch in her roles as Vice- President, President and Ex-Officio.

To the Network Cork Committee of 2025 - thank you all for a year jam-packed with fantastic events. It takes a village!

And finally to our incoming President Diane Higgins, we know our branch is in safe hands with you at the helm.💫💫

Meet Richard Curran, Managing Director of Sentinel Computers Ltd, based in Cork.

Richard Curran is the Managing Director of Sentinel Computers, a Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) dedicated to protecting Ireland’s small and micro businesses. With over 18 years of hands-on experience, Richard has built a reputation for making complex IT and cybersecurity issues accessible to those who need it most, business owners and non-technical leadership teams.

Since founding Sentinel at the age of 22, Richard has guided numerous Irish companies through rigorous third-party audits of their IT systems, directly supporting the protection of over €150 million in business activity. His firm works as a true partner to clients, providing not just strategic guidance on IT posture, but also the practical implementation expertise to back it up.

Often described as “the human interface,” Richard excels at translating technical jargon into plain, actionable language. He believes IT should never be a mystery and that no client should feel patronized when seeking to understand how their systems work. His approach is grounded in mutual respect and the belief that good IT support should empower people, not exclude them.
