Summer travel ball season is just getting started, yet social feeds are already filling up with tryout posts for next year.
Maybe it's just us college coaches from RiseBall, but it feels like we're always racing to the next thing before we've fully experienced the thing we're in.
The tournaments, the road trips, the team dinners, the friendships, the lessons, the growth—this is the season these players have worked for and parents have paid for.
There will be time to think about next year.
For now, let's give our athletes the gift of being present. Let them compete, learn, fail, succeed, laugh, and enjoy the journey without feeling like the next opportunity is already slipping away.
Parents, coaches, and organizations all play a role in creating that environment. Lets get aligned!
