@kevinnbass Implying 'wokeness' - a political perspective - caused mental health issues when this is not seen in other countries with progressive policies is quite the stretch.
Not to mention, citing substack? As a Ph.D. Candidate?
That's concerning.

@kevinnbass Under what research basis is someone allowed to take what is published in a study and alter the literal title of the table to make a conclusion that was not quantitatively shown?
If it was 'masking' symptoms, where & how was this measured to establish mask causation?
2/2
@kevinnbass "Headache represents masking symptoms because study is underpowered for cold differences but adequately powered to detect masking symptoms."
Incorrect.
Per Table 3 of your picture: "Mean number of days of cold symptoms-"
1/
@kevinnbass Lastly, your generalizable statement about the Japanese based on a grossly inaccurate misinterpretation of this study says more about your confirmation bias than their cultural perspective of health.
https://t.co/em8BCSE2Ut
@kevinnbass You also declared 'masking symptoms.'
Nothing in the study differentiates 'masking' symptoms from 'cold' symptoms.
Although, participants self reported their symptoms for 77 days - including those who wore masks - and only reported headaches for when they had cold symptoms.
@kevinnbass This did not compare psychiatric & physical outcomes.
The sample was healthcare workers, an industry plagued by high stress and misinformation - such as this.
Stress has been long documented as a risk factor to infection - as seen here.
Why are you posting wrong information?
Am I the only one that feels weird when an organization asks for a copy of my presentation I was paid to deliver?
I realize this is a grey area depending on the topic, audience, etc.; however, it feels somewhat invasive.
How do you respond?

@csuwildcat @CryptoEnth927 @AFZappa@realGeorgeHotz There is nothing 'factual' about that statement given its amorphous and blanketed generalization about both companies.
Per you, preceding that statement was "there is no consequences to my factual point..."
This is elementary RC. You really cannot stay on track lmao
@csuwildcat @CryptoEnth927 @AFZappa@realGeorgeHotz 1. Learn what opinion is versus fact.
2. Improve your reading comprehension, esp. in relation to your own statements.
"Apple's behavior with iPhones/iOS is far worse than Microsoft ever was w/ Windows."
This is rudimentary, 4th grade level RC of what constitutes 'opinion.'
@csuwildcat @CryptoEnth927 @AFZappa@realGeorgeHotz Lol, this thread was entertaining. Jumping back and forth between OS and iOS, which are referencing completely different things, and then blaming semantics is😂
Also, contrary to popular belief, stating an opinion does not make it factual. Why do Elon fanatics do this😂
Academics and students: has there ever been a time where you felt devalued or that you did not belong in the classroom?
If so, how did that affect you academically and emotionally?

@ErmoPlumber@RoadknightThe @CryptoEnth927 @isobelroe Phew, it’s a good thing this thread or my comment does not centre on economies or economic systems, otherwise I’d wonder if you’re just deflecting. Which, you are.
@ErmoPlumber@RoadknightThe @CryptoEnth927 @isobelroe Responding to a tweet about what the Indigenous flag represents & experiences of colonisation with a refute backed by conspiracy theory driven analyses of a politician’s motives is quite representative of how AU responds to allegations of racism.
I became a greens fan today.
@RoadknightThe @CryptoEnth927 @isobelroe The aboriginal flag, the black colour specifically, represents the aboriginal people.
Proclaiming the aboriginal flag is about race, but the AU one is about “Australians”, when “Australians” tried breeding out indigenous people is giving strong validity to the Greens actions.
