❤️ TCD (62%) more likely to diagnose R➡️L shunt/PFO than TTE (19.4%), difference of 42.6%
❤️ TCD identified high conductance shunt missed by TTE
❤️ Possibility of achieving sensitivity of TCD for shunt detection w/o experienced operator

Started IV. +/- IA is an alternative approach. Higher and lower starting and max doses are out there. Only additional study will reveal what's best.
