Cervical Total Disc Replacement (CTDR) Study Update – How your participation has already had an impact!
At Neurospine Foundation, our CTDR study is helping uncover why some patients experience ongoing symptoms or device-related changes after surgery—while others do not.
What’s next?
We’re continuing recruitment and aiming to complete Phase 2 by mid-2026, with future plans to expand across different CTDR devices and explore genetic insights.
Get involved
If you’ve undergone CTDR at Neurospine Institute, you may be eligible to participate.
👋 We’re excited to welcome Bethany Fisher and Caroline Wilson to the team! 🎉 Both are Advanced Biomedical Sciences Honours students from Curtin University, currently undertaking an exciting research project with us in partnership with the Curtin Medical Research Institute.
Their work focuses on investigating the outcomes of an accelerated rehabilitation program for patients undergoing advanced minimally invasive spine surgery — an area that has the potential to significantly improve patient recovery and outcomes.
Our NSF team is delighted to share our latest research publication, "High Fusion Rates with Structured Titanium TLIF Cages." This retrospective 1-year study reveals promising outcomes for patients undergoing TLIF with structured titanium cages. https://t.co/ehHPwD4VCX
We treat a range of brain/ spine injuries/ diseases. Our diverse casemix allows us to host surgeons from around the world wishing to observe & learn new techniques during observerships & for our clinical fellows more intensive training in specific areas of spine surgery #aospine
The overall aim of the registry is to improve patient care and treatment of spine-related conditions. This may be of future benefit to other people undergoing treatment for their spine conditions. 🩻
