#Neurosteer is bringing the century-old #EEG into the 21st century:
1. Clinical and home use
2. Remote monitoring
3. Objective biomarkers & real-time feedback (even during sports)
4. Non-invasive, medical-grade device
#healthcare#neurotech#brain
The #brain-the only organ in the human body for which we have inadequate tools and diagnostic tests, no satisfactory metrics for assessing healthy and unhealthy function, poor early detection, and limited intervention options. #Neurosteer is changing all that.

Compared to fMRI, #Neurosteer is cheap, portable and unobtrusive - in a clinical setting for initial assessment, and in a patient’s daily routine for continuous monitoring. Cognitive or physical tasks can be performed while being monitored, with interpreted results in real-time.
#Neurosteer offers an off-the-shelf product that can become a standard general-purpose neurological diagnostic tool for use not only by neurologists, but also by anyone in the medical community. #brain#healthcare#neurotech | https://t.co/xqCtl8kd3M

#Neurosteer’s single-channel #EEG is able to distinguish #brain activity in the same way a single human ear can distinguish between the instruments of an orchestra.
#Neurosteer uses an adhesive forehead strip, connected to a pocket-sized sensor that wirelessly transmits data to the cloud for signal processing. Advanced algorithms then decompose the single #EEG channel for real-time analysis and display on a web-based dashboard.
@neurosteer monitored the brain activity of hundreds of surgeons -- during surgery -- as the the EEG component of the Stanford Surgical Metrics project at the @AmCollSurgeons conference.
@chrissyfarr Would love to discuss our EEG wearable sticker for early detection of Alzheimer's, monitoring surgeon brain activity in the Stanford Surgical Metrics project, and more.
