Consequently, many people tune in to every show just to see what Taehyung’s next standout moment will be.

Predictably, a legion of detractors emerges, trying to downplay what is impossible to hide. They dispute praise, attack those who talk about him, fabricate narratives, and turn any viral moment into a fandom war. When someone feels the need to combat every spontaneous display of an artist's popularity, it doesn't signal confidence in their own favorite — it signals insecurity.

Eleven years ago, when I found TaeKook and learned to love and support them with all my heart, I didn't fully understand the scope of what I was embarking on. Over the years, I've nurtured what is, in effect, a profound, identifying passion...something that has greatly influenced the way I see things. TaeKook is exactly the kind of journey where you value the freest and most authentic parts of yourself and give them voice...it's tenderness and understanding, it's devout waiting, it's familiarity. It's not judgment or possession. It's not oppression, but possibility. To be what makes you comfortable and happy with yourself. It's hope and, ultimately, a promise. For all these reasons, which I'm sure many of you feel are yours too, we support and care of this "project". Yes...they are ultimately the project of being better people in a better world, and where, if they want, two rare souls can unite their destinies without any pretense. Never forget the reason or the way. And so when I see today, that furtive glances have been replaced by a constant, wild joy shoved in the faces of entire stadiums... I realize that the last 11 years have definitely been worth it.
