@USWNT@Visa Thanks for coming down under! All the USA fans that I have met have been lovely people. You’ve brought an amazing atmosphere to the Stadiums wearing your team colours and making lots of noise. It’s been fantastic!
@RCarlyleAuthor Wonder if we could convince a car carrier to take over, would just have to go from Nelson port to Wellington port as I’d imagine they are too big for the car ferry berths.
Apparently there were signs at gate A saying to go to morningside for westbound trains, I exited the other side and the only electronic sign I saw said something about buses to Alexandra park
@AKLPort@RichardHills_@AklTransport Maybe time to revisit this idea? From Mt Victoria (with a cable car running up to the top) to the top of the car handling facility at Bledisloe?
@FoxyLustyGrover Plus waiting for the bus back to town for an hour and a half in the downpour. On a positive note, we weren’t waiting in the scorching Sun for 8 hours with no water
@phyllisofickle The person who sent me one better get to confession as they claimed I’d like some of their posts on the Auckland bible study group. The football field is the only place I go to worship on Sundays
@AT_TravelAlerts So I’ve had an update and humbly “take back” my tweet, a line snapped and the ship needed to use propulsion to stay alongside until it got rectified
@AT_TravelAlerts Do you just use copy and paste from yesterday’s tweet? The cruise ship arrived 4:30 this morning and departs 18:15 tonight. How does the cruise ship being alongside a wharf interrupt your ability to provide a service?
@AT_TravelAlerts The ferry restrictions set by the Harbourmaster means all non ferry operations must be clear of the ferry basin between 6:30 and 9:00. The tugs were well clear before this time and all propulsion shut down. You cannot blame the cruise ship for your cancellation
@Glennr181@AT_TravelAlerts Cruise ship was tied up before 6:30. Our tugs must depart the ferry basin by 6:30 which they did, cancellation cannot be blamed on the cruise ship
@mrschippy15 @PointUser @AT_TravelAlerts Cruise ship was tied up and completed all before 6:30 as this is the time restriction imposed by the harbour master on ferry basin operations for non ferry operations. This cancellation cannot be blamed on the cruise ship
