@patelmj@ramshroff@rwitcmumbai Even the Indian racing feed going international is from one source, so when races clash, only one race can be broadcast, like the feed for the leger yesterday, they were waiting on the earlier hyd race with horses still circling behind the gate, while the leger started.
@dashmeshstud On the contrary vaccination or past infection renders no protection against omicron as the studies have shown, it's just as the virus keeps mutating it tends to get weaker. There are many double vaccinated who have got it
@shivens Who is to tell, who won't and will improve, and even presume a 30%success rate, the fact is they do improve, and it's a wrong notion that it affects growth in a 2yr old, we are the only country nurturing them as 2 yr olds the world over they are racing as 2 yr olds in March
@shivens Also just gelding them isn't going to make them sprout wings, so if you are an average horse, you will remain one, but a one with promise starts showing the promise post gelding them #agostinocarraci
@shivens ??? 2 horses improved, that's a victory in itself, Agostino Caracci vastly improved, stripped fitter, ran straighter and was unlucky to get beat in the last 50m by another good horse, see his first start was fav and all over the place, and this time like a horse who knew his job
@shivens@rwitcmumbai Best example, Da Hoss, the dual Breeders Cup mile winner, was well bred and would have earned a fair bit as a stallion, but the connections have always maintained that not only would his temperament have prevented him from winning any breeders Cup had he been left entire
@shivens@rwitcmumbai It's a no brainer, especially where there isn't a stallion market, temperament improves, increased ease of handling, makes him less top heavy and therefore sounder and less prone to joint and other such injury and more focused on the job on hand.
