Y’all, I canceled over half of my streaming subscriptions yesterday. I’m honestly at the point where I’d rather buy a Blu-ray or DVD and own the thing forever than keep paying $20+ every month just to watch it with ads. We really went backwards.
Kyle Juszczyk on his fine:
"I don't know how else to say it. I wasn't drinking beer in my celebration. I think you guys all know my nickname is 'Juice.' I have juice on my pads. The stadium yells 'Juice' when I catch the ball. When I celebrate, I celebrate by drinking juice."
The NFL fined 49ers FB Kyle Juszczyk nearly $15k for an "offensive demonstration"
1: He's done this celebration his entire career
2: Juszczyk doesn't even drink. His nickname is "Juice" which is why he does the celebration
3: Beer and alcohol is SOLD at NFL games
4: NFL partners with beer brands!
Absurd.

“Disney+ will now have ads on every plan.”
You know what? Where the hell is my DVD player? I’m ready to go back to buying movies, owning them forever, and watching them in peace.
🎮 SONY MAY BE LISTENING. DON’T DECLARE VICTORY YET.
Spawn Wave brought up something that deserves our attention.
Sony has officially said that physical-disc production for NEW PlayStation releases ends in January 2028.
But now there are reports that Sony is surveying developers about physical media and the impact of that decision.
🤔
If the decision were completely settled internally, why ask developers what they think about dropping discs?
That does NOT mean Sony has reversed course. Nor does NOT mean physical games are saved.
And until Sony says something publicly, I’m not going to pretend otherwise. @Sony needs to come out from the cowards layer, and speak TF up!
I digress..
But it DOES mean we should keep talking.
Gamers have been loud about this for a reason. This was never simply “digital bad, disc good.”
It's all over CHOICE.
Physical games give us another retailer, another price, another way to lend, trade, resell, collect and preserve what we bought.
Take that option away and gamers lose leverage.
So if Sony really is testing the temperature with developers, good.
Ask them. Ask retailers.
And most importantly, ASK THE PEOPLE BUYING THE GAMES.
No Disc, No Buy was never about nostalgia.
It was about keeping choice alive.

Video game studios, first and third party, must organize a statement or a walkout to show their support to physical game media🚀
The whole “it’s our of our hands” approach is complacency and sends the wrong message. You need to be loud.
Ending physical media might earn you more profits on the short run, but it will cost you brand loyalty which brings in more money and goodwill from players on the longer run.
Make your stance clear. Support physical media because it’s physical media is more than just an item in a box. Physical media is:
✅Ownership
✅Preservation to video games
✅Region-free gaming
✅More options to players
✅Collector’s market
✅Little to no reliance on internet/accounts
In addition to that, it is in the best interest to allow players to access games in competitive prices, because with the ballooning prices for consoles and games, many players will simply refuse to buy something, when prices remain high, or wait for it to become part of a subscription service many months later to get it.
Meanwhile, having a cheaper priced alternative will encourage players to buy more games, and easily get into the “ecosystem” of the game and its respective console.
Defend physical games
Defend player’s rights
Defeat the raging desire to please only investors at the expense of player trust
Speak out. Walk out.
Stand by your customers because they will go a long way in trust and respect
NO DISC 💿 NO BUY
Lindsey Isaacs, a 23-year-old from Palm Coast, Florida, testified about being thrown into solitary confinement for more than three days after a Flock license-plate camera wrongly tied her Dodge Durango to a deadly I-4 crash.
Jail staff told her she had to stay isolated because of how serious the charges were. The cell door stayed locked for about 86 hours.
She said she was terrified she would spend the rest of her life in prison for a wreck she knew she hadn’t caused.
At her lowest point she didn’t want to live. She spent nearly two weeks in maximum-security jail before prosecutors dropped the charges.
Flock should be sued out of existence for this.
Never forget when LeBron James tried to doxx and threaten the life of a white police officer for killing a black woman before he had any facts about what actually happened. Then the bodycam footage came out and showed that the officer heroically SAVED the other black woman’s life that was about to be stabbed to death.
After this, LeBron deleted the post in shame after MILLIONS of people had already seen it… many of them still believe it was a racially-motivated police shooting to this day. He STILL has never apologized to the officer for doing this… just moved on like it never happened.
