Two guys who spend far too much time talking about Harlequins Rugby club. We USED to run a podcast. [email protected] #CHAMPIONS2012 #CHAMPIONS2021

Victoriam! Multo melius quam non victoriam.

[NLB @NevsLeftBoot]

OK #quins fans. What counts as a minimum today? LBP?
80% l/o success? For me, its about staying competitive, stay in the game. Be gritty and determined. Chase, harry and be a nuisance. Keep the penalty count down.

[NLB @NevsLeftBoot]

@Harlequins

[NLB @NevsLeftBoot]

@QuinsFOTS @Harlequins We have to realise where we are starting from. We hit bottom last season. Recruitment is a challenge AND it will take a little bit of time to reset. We have to grow from here… or we implode and drop off. Time will tell

[NLB @NevsLeftBoot]

Could see some shoots of recovery from @Harlequins last night. Defence is harder working, more breaks overall and Dun looks decent.
Shame about not converting, L/O troubles and a drop in energy in the last 20.

I take it back, slightly, @BBCSport https://t.co/oOSre05VFL one page for 3 games no quotes…..

[NLB @NevsLeftBoot]

Where is the rugby coverage? @premrugby @TelegraphRugby @thetimes @BBCSport Its possible to read about 2nd & 3rd tier football during pre season. But the first match of an ACTUAL competition is seemingly absent from reporting. @RugbyPodcast WTF?

[NLB @NevsLeftBoot]

@BathBytes @CastoreEngland @BathRugby Its bizarre isnt it? I dont like the @CastoreEngland kit in general, most of the Quins stuff has been dreadful, but where i have considered it the sizing has been so far off……

[NLB @NevsLeftBoot]

@BathBytes That is the theory - I think people forget how good Dupont's SH play has been.
However, he hasn't come back from his injury well yet.
Lucu is a lovely player.

[NLB @NevsLeftBoot]

@trevorfgrant it's worse. ENG have no idea. Quins have no idea either but we know what the idea is supposed to be......

[NLB @NevsLeftBoot]

Right, well this feels like a terrible first up match for ENG.
#NationsChampionship #RSAvENG

[NLB @NevsLeftBoot]

@thepaulwilliams double threat isn't it......

[NLB @NevsLeftBoot]

Whatever happens - Martin Try was very good and pleasing. #NationsChampionship #RSAvENG

[NLB @NevsLeftBoot]

ENG's game plan (if there is one) seems to be built around winning 50/50's and catching scraps. against a team that is great at both of these but is also brutal in both attack and defence. #NationsChampionship #RSAvENG

[NLB @NevsLeftBoot]

@BathBytes If only they remembered they have more than 8 players on the pitch as all the backs made redundant once they get near the 22.

[NLB @NevsLeftBoot]

OO! Hang on.
being checked
Ruled out.
Pretty much sums up ENG though. #NationsChampionship #RSAvENG

[NLB @NevsLeftBoot]

Ah! They've woken up. Not pretty once in the 22. but they got a score. #NationsChampionship #RSAvENG

Looking like a training match for SA at the moment, under zero pressure. #NationsChampionship #RSAvENG

[NLB @NevsLeftBoot]

ENG start just as they finished the #6N #NationsChampionship #RSAvENG

[NLB @NevsLeftBoot]

Nice of SA to not use a frontline kicker - to even up the match overall. #NationsChampionship #RSAvENG
