SamMobile has confirmed that a Samsung spokesperson clarified the Galaxy S26 Ultra actually features an 8-bit color depth display.
The brand is reducing banding using Frame Rate Control (FRC) — which simulates 10-bit color on an 8-bit panel (commonly known as 8-bit + FRC).
So it’s not a true 10-bit panel after all 👀

Moving telephoto could be a game changer.
It would basically mean having a 120-~200 lens on your phone. Would rather it starting at around 70mm (3x) though
The iPhone 17 Pro Max is rumoured to ditch the current 5X tetraprism telephoto system for a 5-8X variable MOVING telephoto setup.
It will allow for optical quality zoom in ALL intermediate ranges between 5X and 8X, and a 12MP 16X sensor crop with at least 80X digital zoom.
This could be the biggest upgrade to the iPhone’s camera hardware in 18 years.
