A New website about the projects to build new standard-gauge steam Steam Locos. Diesel and Narrow gauge locomotives will come soon. Successor to New Build Steam
STEERING NO. 2007 PRINCE OF WALES TO COMPLETION WITH THE PONY (TRUCK) CLUB
New fundraising initiative launched to help complete Britain’s most powerful steam locomotive. Find out more here https://t.co/ddE4KBVbIR
Whilst we are in lockdown our team have visited Tornado to check all is well. Time was taken to move the locomotive up and down the yard at the National Railway Museum. This keeps things moving & enables the grease to get round the cannon boxes.

Hm, you might need to click on the 'comments' link to get to it using the link above. This one should get you there directly, though we seem to be into the vagaries of Wordpress here... https://t.co/udgYo9WbvK

There's no clear-cut dividing line between the projects covered on https://t.co/JMkWO0taFd and the replicas of early locos that can be seen in action in museums around the country. For this feature, we took a look at these interesting little engines https://t.co/yB9FMCJfCv
A couple more highlights to share from the last few years of https://t.co/JMkWO0taFd - here's our look at new build projects outside the UK. https://t.co/mBYV7kM5Bj #newbuildsteam
Continuing our look back at highlights from https://t.co/JMkWO0bzNF, many readers found this interview with Mark Allatt of the A1 Trust very insightful and informative. https://t.co/6gDMvOrujp #newbuildsteam
Merry Christmas from https://t.co/JMkWO0bzNF! For today's look back, here's an article from another day of tradition - our April Fool's story from 2018 https://t.co/Ard0qkGkeC #newbuildsteam
Continuing our look back at highlights from https://t.co/JMkWO0taFd - our one foray outside standard gauge was this look at broad gauge new build, and surviving original locos as a bonus. https://t.co/JXZou1CvM3 #nebuildsteam
The Flickr pool isn't really a feature though, so for today's look back, here's one of several ventures out of the site's usual scope, looking at New Build Diesels in June 2018. https://t.co/1t0xWtEWo8 #newbuildsteam
Another element of https://t.co/JMkWO0taFd over the years has been the Flickr group pool - thank you to everyone who has shared their pictures in it! And please keep doing so - it will keep running. https://t.co/eNFEx4XSeJ #newbuildsteam
