Thank you to everyone signing in to join us for Monument of Triumph.
We've seen quite a few fireteams reuniting, groups memorizing Pantheon patterns to prep for Saturday's gauntlet, and many asking for clues about [REDACTED].
Those nailbiter SRL finishes? And the drip with all this new armor?
What a wild day so far.
Keep it up.
I'll be playing Destiny 2 today, but... I wanted to share why. The unfortunate truth is... one terrible day hopefully deep into the future, Warframe will inevitably be in a similar position, and... I know that... if we too sound the alarm, that we too need to slam servers... Destiny players will come to our aid in the exact same way. I want to show corporate types today the kind of power gamers truly have. That we can band together and fly in the face of profit only decisions and corporate greed. That those types of people, in fact DO NOT represent us and further DO NOT have a clue how this industry actually works. To me... making corporations rethink these narrow sighted decisions to pump quarterly numbers in order to allow the art and the communities of these wonderful franchises to thrive, Maybe you disagree and... that's your choice but, well I can't think of a more deserving use of my time today.

The Halo nerd in me couldn't help but notice it:
Lone Wolf (account name in photo Bungie provided) was the title of the final campaign mission in Halo: Reach. It's a sad mission and ending, but like all endings, they are also beginnings.
Reach released in 2010. Bungie goes dark, and 3 years later Destiny was revealed in 2013. Now, 13 years later, Bungie is placing Destiny in maintenance mode.
Everyone wants to have that glimmer of hope a Destiny 3 gets made. Seeing that account name, in a thread talking about the final content Destiny 2 is getting, one just has to wonder...
"larp" "larper" "larping" YOU DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT IT MEANS YOUR ALL POSERS POSER REFERS TO BEING A FAKE FAN NOT LARP, LARPS A FUCKING ACRONYM FOR LIVE ACTION ROLE PLAY YOU DUMB BITCH STOP FUCKING USING THAT SHIT YOUR ALL SO FUCKING DUMB THAT IM ABOUT TO EXPLODE
To the Destiny 2 community,
Thank you.
As artists, our goal has always been to create worlds filled with wonder, mystery, beauty, and adventure. But what brings those worlds to life is you. You take our designs, our napkin sketches, our "wouldn't it be cool if..." ideas and transform them into something real. Your creativity, your passion, and your love for the game give our work purpose.
We've always believed Destiny could be a place where expression is celebrated, where players can see themselves and each other in the worlds we build, where every Guardian can forge their own legend—and you proved it.
Watching your Guardians grow, embrace new allies, take down bigger and badder bosses, solve mind-bending puzzles, dodge death traps, avoid Taken boopers, and overcome every Raid challenge we throw at you—all while looking incredible—has been a constant reminder of why this universe matters.
You shaped it. You made it matter. You are the light of Destiny.
With Monument of Triumph, we set out to create a series of love letters to Guardians, new and old. We shared a preview last week of armor inspired by early designs from the original Destiny but have also sprinkled some winks and nods throughout the rewards releasing tomorrow. We hope they feel like a small thank you for everything you’ve given us.
From all of us on the Destiny 2 art team, thank you for supporting us, inspiring us, and continuing to bring this world to life in ways we could never have imagined. You give our art meaning.
With gratitude,
The Destiny 2 Art Team
I had this dream yesterday where Capcom released a pc port of Monster Hunter Gen Ultimate, but there are special events that brought new monsters back to GU and for some reason Rey Dau was there in the Jurassic Frontier.

Reasons why I love the Xbox Showcase:
> Straight to the trailers / gameplay
> No developers talking
> No stage talking / no cringe
> Literally no time wasted here
@destiny_thememe It asks the question, what if high school was fun and fulfilling?
In all seriousness it depends on the game. 3 is about dealing with mortality and making the most of your limited time, 4 is about pursuing the truth in the faith and hardship and living as your best self
