Out Nov 7 - From Heaven to Heaven, New Order Live, The Early Years (1981-1984) at Close Quarters. Catch myself, Jon Wozencroft (Touch) and Jon Marsh (The Beloved) in conversation with Dave Simpson (Guardian) Nov 11 at Rough Trade East. https://t.co/z6U3ReXfeZ @neworder
@esuohedarap@stephenpdmorris@neworder@kclr96fm The book’s currently out of print John, though very occasionally a copy surfaces. As it happens, copy #29 fetched £93 on eBay in August, though knowing who sold it I’m a bit surprised. Ireland’s c&w ‘thing’? I survive(d) it... as I now live here, Enniscorthy way. :)
Not sure I ever mentioned I was there when @neworder played in #Kilkenny in 1983? Well amazingly a dvd of the show 37+ years ago (gulp) is being released next month! I was delighted to chat to NO drummer @stephenpdmorris about it on @kclr96fm Here it is https://t.co/llxFjTAcNX
@fac383@JDNOPICS Re my 'moves', one recent Youtube comment I noticed just this morning: 'DH, showing us what 80’s white-man dancing is all about!' Glad to have been of service.
@stephenpdmorris I'd love to take the credit for that photo but it's not one of mine, Steve. I was possibly laughing at the onstage tomfoolery. By a mile, the strangest NO gig I've ever been at... in a good way... and maybe the smallest crowd. Blame Irish country legend, Big Tom for the latter.
