One woman should never have enough power to destroy your entire life.
-She can reject you.
-She can leave you.
-She can choose another man.
-She can stop loving you.
It will hurt, but life continues.
Your legs still work. Your brain still works. Your goals are still there. Your family still needs you. Your future still exists.
Never give one person the power to make you forget who you are.
I can't believe that I used to sing these songs too...😳
We were so brainwashed that we never thought straight.
Watch this to know that how the MULLAWOOD/URDUWOOD distorted Indian Culture, Indian History and the concept of India altogether over the years...😡
You'll fall deeper in love when you realize that your lover doesn't exist to satisfy your every whim and desire and it's not their responsibility to provide everything lacking in your life, like some kind of divinely ordained human-shaped vending machine. When you let go of this, and just focus on loving them, that's the secret doorway to getting everything you ever wanted.
Men choose younger women most of the time because they respect his rules instead of trying to control his daily plans.
She is usually easier to lead, less set in her ways, and more willing to build with him instead of managing him.
An older woman often brings heavy emotional baggage and past hurt, then expects him to pay for mistakes he did not make.
She wants the benefits of a serious man while still arguing over every decision, every boundary, and every plan.
A lot of men are not chasing youth for fun. They are choosing peace, respect, and a woman who has not already decided she knows better than him.
Most of you people will shit your pants if you have to live with Orthodox Bengali Hindu families like mine
These are the rules in my home:
> Showering every time you take a shit, we keep separate wear to go take a shit
> There are literally separate mugs for showering and taking a shit
> Bengalis keep separate utensils for "amish" and "niramish". Utensils which are used to cook even onions and masoor dal cannot be used to cook niramish
> There are older generations who consider chicken (and its eggs) as asaucha even if they consume mutton
> Also, if any non-Hindu consumes water from a glass, we have to splash Gangajal on it to purify it
>No leftover is allowed on days of Shaucha
> If you haven't washed your hands and mouth after eating, then touch any food, it becomes "aeto", meaning impure. It cannot be mixed in with other food or they become aeto as well
> You cannot enter the kitchen to cook without taking shower and changing into fresh clothes
> If you take a haircut, you have to take shower before entering the premises of the home because you become asaucha
> When a woman makes bhoga, her saree cannot touch the floor or the food cannot be offered to the gods
> Also, there is no concept of sargi among Bengali Hindus. Vrat is ideally nirjala (or water can be consumed at max)
> Once vrat ends, you can only consume sattvic food and not go down on 1kg carb/fat heavy BS like vrat pizza
> Bengalis also have a concept called "heri". If you cook fish or mutton and a drop of masala/water splashes on you, you have to take shower
> The concept of cross contamination is an extremely important thing in Bengali homes.
> Milk and salt cannot touch each other, hence Bengal has a culture of dairy based desserts but no paneer dishes
> You have separate clothes for sleeping and work, you cannot wear the same dress you went out in and sleep in the same thing
> Post travel, you have to take a shower immediately because you become asaucha
And the thing is that Bengali non-UCs (like mine) are far more likely to be orthodox when it comes to these things than even urban UCs in Kolkata
The thing is that I would actually prefer to follow these, but it's not possible in North India where people aren't that keen on rules of shaucha
