A DOWNTOWN SNOW EMERGENCY has been declared for FRIDAY, February 24, from 1:30 AM to completion.

During this time vehicles parked within the signed downtown snow emergency route will be tagged and towed.

On Thursday 2/23/2023 The City of New Ulm Street Dept. will be doing a full plow of the City streets. Starting at 4:00 AM. We will be plowing curb to curb. (Except for the Downtown area we will pile up)

Please move cars off the streets if you can.

Today we remember Night Officer John F. Herzog of the New Ulm Police Department, who died in the line of duty on this day in 1928. Officer Herzog succumbed to injuries sustained two nights earlier when he slipped on ice and fell against a fire hydrant.
