Did you know that the YMCAโs Healthy Kids Backpack project serves over 500 students? We had a great group of Newark Rotarians volunteer this past Wednesday. With 14 participants, we packed 85 boxes (510 meals) in 90 minutes.๐๐ป We were so happy to help with this project.
This week, Newark Rotarians collaborated with the Newark Lions Club, Newark Kiwanis Club and the Newark-Heath Rotary Club to spruce up the exterior of the YES Club for their reopening. Thank you to all who invested their time and energy on this wonderful project!

What an eventful meeting today! We swore in our 2022-2023 Board of Directors. Molly Ingold received the Bravo award for her service to our community. The gavel was passed between all of our past presidents. Angie Ryan was inaugurated as the 106th President of our club.
Thank you so much to the Weathervane Playhouse for entertaining our Rotarians yesterday for our regular Tuesday program! You all did a fantastic job, and it was great to learn more about the theatre.

We had a great day at Newark Rotary Park for our annual Special Needs Picnic! Thank you to all of the Rotarians who were able to join us, and thank you to Rotarian Todd Salome with Heritage Catering for providing the delicious food for the students, teachers and Rotarians.

The Newark Rotary Club was recognized as a 2021-2022 Peacebuilder Club this past weekend at the Rotary District 6690 Conference for demonstrating RD 6690 Peace Objectives. ๐
Rotary District 6690 is holding their 2022 District Assembly and Conference at the Cherry Valley Hotel today and tomorrow. Part of the conference involves a service project for Habitat for Humanity. Newark Rotarian, Joe Sinsabaugh, is featured in these photos helping out.

Newark Rotarians: Our March Rotary Gives project is collecting non-perishable food items and monetary donations for the Food Pantry Network of Licking County. While out shopping this weekend, pick up a few canned goods to drop off at our Tuesday meeting.
We had a great meeting on Tuesday hearing from Tom Atha who spoke about NOCA, Newark Organization for the Creative Arts! What a great addition to our community!
