Unfortunate that upstream glibc discussion on DT_HASH isn't coming out strongly in favor of prioritizing compatibility with pre-existing applications. Every such instance contributes to damaging the idea of desktop Linux as a viable target for third-party developers.

@morganjohn234 @Soupape50 @UHUH_GUILLERMO @jeremy_soller I hope you can be somewhat understanding about it given that they are doing what you called "literally impossible".
@pjzara@TimSweeneyEpic@Blastermaster77@Stormy178@FortniteGame How do you know that the kernel isn't lying about its checksum? Every file operation you make goes through the kernel, so you're basically asking the kernel to verify itself. If you can trust the kernel, how can you trust the kernel to verify itself?
@thelinuxEXP @TaxiDri17384402@Marco_de_Bock They made a "Linux tablet" and picked a GPU without mainline Linux/Mesa support. They could have went with Adreno, Mali, or Vivante and had serviceable support, but instead they choose PowerVR which has almost zero support. As I see it, they clearly just didn't care about Linux.
@mabnavarrete@postmarketOS It's a longstanding issue unfortunately. Bug in the Freedreno GPU driver probably. As for your scaling problems, try this: https://t.co/C50rkwfnZq
@Leigh_A_T@drsimonegold She is saying that "Pfizer trials warned men to stay away from pregnant women" and pointed towards the definition of "exposure during pregnancy". There's no warning in the picture she posted. Just a definition of terminology.
@Leigh_A_T@drsimonegold What Gold is saying in the tweet is wrong given her supplied sources. She did supply some "reference data" in the form of a cropped photo from a paper and it doesn't back up her claims. She supplied zero "reference data" to support her claim, so why should I believe her?
@Leo05986599 @aberbamx@cfkschaller@fedora Have you even used it on Fedora? I've been using it for over two years at this point, and I've never had a case of Fedora's kernel being too new for the proprietary NVIDIA driver. What's more, Fedora doesn't even use dkms for this, it uses akmod.
.@Fedora Linux belongs to everyone, and today is recognized by @DPGAlliance as a digital public good! Learn more about what this means for #Fedora and the #Linux community at large: https://t.co/cMyC37Ufve
