Portions of Salem Parkway/U.S. 421 To Close Overnight May 27–28 for Public Art Installation ⚠️

From 10 p.m. May 27 to 6 a.m. May 28, a city contractor will close westbound Salem Parkway between the Main Street and Cloverdale Avenue exits. Ramps from Peters Creek Parkway to Salem Parkway will also be closed in both directions.

Eastbound traffic on Salem Parkway will be reduced to one lane between Cherry Street and beyond the Church Street Bridge.

Signed detours will direct drivers to Cloverdale Avenue, First Street, and Main Street. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes.

The project includes art sculpture installations on the Church Street Bridge and at the Peters Creek Parkway westbound on ramp. Learn more: https://t.co/IM44XBScLc
