Watters: Trump talks a lot. So yeah, he’s going to mention Barack Hussein Obama. Part of that is he likes to say “Hussein.”
Jessica: Why?
Watters: Because it’s funny. The president’s middle name is Hussein. You don’t think that is hysterical?
Jessica: No. He says it so people think he is Muslim.
Watters: Well, he did say he was Muslim.
Where is Congress? Where are those so called “fiscally conservative” Republicans? Trump is spending taxpayer money, the money of hardworking Americans, as if it is his OWN money for himself and his vanity projects, all while you sit back and do nothing. 🤬 Grow a spine, cowards!
Looking back on my career, I've found a strange trend that seemed to improve my performance: Getting injured.
It's funny to look back on now, but the pattern holds up.
- In 2015, I broke my pointer finger against Stanford. The next week, I threw for 497 yards and 5 touchdowns against Arizona State and was named Pac-12 Player of the Week.
- Later that same season, I suffered a concussion in the first half against UCLA. After being cleared to return, I came back in the second half and helped lead a game-winning drive in the Rose Bowl—one of the most memorable moments of my career.
- In 2016, I separated my ribs against Oregon State. The following week against Arizona, I had more touchdown passes (4) than incompletions (3).
- In 2017, I broke my wrist against Boise State. The next week, I threw 6 touchdowns and earned Pac-12 Player of the Week honors again.
Was I just a glutton for punishment? Maybe.
But what those injuries did for me psychologically was powerful: They helped me give a "Falk" less.
They forced me to play with house money.
When you're injured, it's almost like you get a hall pass from expectations. People don't expect you to perform at your best. And because those expectations drop—at least in your own mind—you stop trying to be perfect.
You stop protecting your reputation. You stop fearing mistakes. You simply cut it loose.
I've seen this happen with athletes all the time. It even happens when they're sick. They're battling something, so the pressure comes off. The expectations lower. Their decisiveness increases. And suddenly they're playing some of their best ball.
The injury wasn't making me better. The mindset was.
The injury simply removed the pressure.
Today, I wish I had discovered a healthier way to access that state. Because the lesson isn't that you need to break a bone, get sick, or suffer a setback to perform at your best.
The lesson is that you need to stop carrying the weight of expectations.
You need to learn how to reframe pressure. You need to build your ability to play free.
You need to develop your "Don't Give a Falk" Factor.
The top performers aren’t fearless… They've just learned how to play and live with a “House Money” mentality.

JD Vance on Nixon: "I think Nixon's historical legacy is enjoying a bit of a renaissance, and deservedly so. I joked that if Watergate happened tomorrow, it would be like a 12 hours news story. The idea that it took down a presidency is crazy."
Stephen Miller: It is true there is a segment of wealthy white liberals who live in New York City and Los Angeles who are crazy left and insane and do all sorts of damage to the country. It is also true that, at scale, bringing tens of millions of third-world voters into this country from nations that are communist nations, socialist nations, failed states—nations that, if they never had contact with the West, would have never developed the combustion engine or airplanes or television or radio or the internet—you have to be stupid not to see that it would lead to socialism.
Kellyanne on Trump’s Freedom 250 speech: What an uplifting optimistic patriotic, opening for America's 250 birthday. He is extending an olive branch for those that may not have voted for him but are Americans & he wants everybody to celebrate this moment
Pete Hegseth’s bright idea of not making flu vaccines mandatory has backfired because now 220 service members at the Air Force base in Antonio have contracted it which is up from 160 a week ago. There’s an investigation underway because a 19 y/o Keon McDaniel may have died from it
🚨 BREAKING: Close Trump advisors have been informing him the likeliest cause of any “rip” in the Reflecting Pool surface came from him insisting the full motorcade drive on the fresh surface to “inspect” it before it was refilled, which he immediately denies to blame liberals.
